Taylor Swift is busy getting ready to host NBC’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ this weekend (Nov. 7), so when she appeared on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ this week, she took the opportunity to seek some inside info from the ‘SNL’ alum.
“I have a lot of questions for you,” said Taylor. “I have my first meeting tonight … so what happens there?”
Among the advice Jimmy gave the teen sensation was to not over-think the whole situation and to be extra nice to the writers. When the host asked Taylor if she’d be offering up any of her own ideas, Taylor answered with an enthusiastic “yes,” then followed up with, “Am I allowed to do that?”
As the singer has previously said, she will be well-prepared for whatever happens. “I am super-annoying prepared,” she told Jimmy. “I have so many different things written down on a memo. It’s really long. I didn’t want to be that girl who showed up and it was like ‘Oh … well, you were supposed to supply it all.’ I was about to make flashcards and a PowerPoint [presentation]!” Taylor said with laughter.
Saturday’s show will not be Taylor’s first appearance on ‘Saturday Night Live.’ Earlier this year, she appeared as musical guest and also acted in a skit, playing the role of ‘Angry Orphan Annie.’
