You know, Taylor ain’t all that. If you really listen to her sing, she goes out of breath and sometimes sings off key. I believe that she needed to pay her dues before winning. Can she belt out a song like Reba, Martina, or Carrie. I used to like her and now I am getting tired of her. If it wasn’t for the teeny boppers I don’t think she would be that popular. Give up the Taylor lovefest
I’m not a Taylor hater but if you listen to her live performances, she can’t sing. Carrie Underwood, Martin McBride, Faith Hill are singers – Taylor is not. I know she is the “hot commodity” right now in country music and she is an extremely talented song writer. Entertainer of the Year she is not – Kenny should of won this award hands down.
Maybe there’s something to be said for Taylor being so young, paying her dues, etc . but to everyone who’s being mean and fixated on saying Taylor can’t sing… there have been many, many successful “non-singer” singers…Bob Dylan anyone? So she’s not the strongest voice no, but it’s the whole package that’s considered in this award not just the singing voice.
Agree or disagree with the choice everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but there’s enough hate in the world… why be mean about someone who seems to be a perfectly sweet and lovely human being? I say good for her!
Taylor is a great entertainer BUT!!!!!!! SHE should NOT have won entertainer of the year!!! Other nominees were much more deserving!!
I felt very bitter about Taylor winning Entertainer of the Year. Anyone else in that catergory was more well-fitted for it, but Taylor has not earned that title yet. I also thought her winning vocalist of the year was very dissappointing. I mean, come on now, I have yet to her her hit a high note. And you can’t put someone like her in a group of women whose voices are like Celion Dion and Whitney Houston of country music!
Taylor looked like she was faking the tears when she won the award. As for her singing, she’s okay, but she’s no Martina. I think she is for more of a younger age/teenage years. My 4 year old great-granddaughter loves her. So maybe she can be a role model for the younger girls.
I just had the greatest laugh. There she goes again, with the fake cry, the same words said over and over and over again. Taylor…just STOP.
Kenny deserved this award.
